These Terms govern your use of Parking Practice (https://parkingpractice.com/) — the website, the browser-based 3D parking simulator, and any paid subscription to it. By using the site or subscribing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. How we handle your data is described separately in our Privacy Policy.
Parking Practice is a driving-practice aid that runs in your web browser. It simulates parking manoeuvres using a simplified kinematic model of a car — not a full physics engine, and not a model of any specific real vehicle. It is a learning tool, not a game of record, a certification, or a driving test.
You can practise without an account. An account is only required to subscribe and to keep a practice history. If you create one:
Every visitor gets a free practice allowance — a daily limit within a monthly cap; the current figures are shown on the Pricing page. Only time spent actually driving is counted; menus, the start screen and paused sessions are not.
The free allowance is offered in good faith, for personal practice. Deliberately circumventing it — automating the service, tampering with how usage is measured, or creating multiple accounts to obtain unlimited free access — is a breach of these Terms and may lead to suspension. We may change the size of the free allowance, or end it, at any time.
A pass needs no cancelling: it simply ends. You can cancel a subscription at any time: sign in, open the Pricing page, and use Manage billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Because access is granted immediately and the period is short, we do not refund partial periods, unused days or unused time. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or could not use the service because of a fault on our side, email contact@parkingpractice.com and we will put it right. Nothing here limits any mandatory refund or withdrawal right you have under consumer law where you live — including, in the EU and the UK, the statutory withdrawal right for digital services, which you may lose once you ask for the service to start immediately and it has been fully provided.
We may change our prices. An existing subscription keeps renewing at the price it was taken out at for as long as it stays active — this is how earlier early-bird subscriptions continue today. If you cancel and subscribe again later, the price then shown on the Pricing page applies. Any change to the price of an ongoing subscription would be announced in advance and would give you the chance to cancel first.
While your subscription is active, a summary of each completed, failed or abandoned practice run is saved to your account and shown on your progress page. Free use is never uploaded. If your subscription ends, your saved history is retained but is no longer viewable; subscribing again with the same account restores access to it. You can ask us to delete it at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You may use the site and the simulator for your own personal, non-commercial practice, through a standard web browser. You may not:
Driving instructors and schools are welcome to point their students at the site and to show it in a lesson; contact us if you would like to build it into a paid programme.
The site, its source code, its 3D scenes and vehicle models, its coaching content and its branding belong to Parking Practice and its creators, and are protected by copyright. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the service as intended — no ownership of anything is transferred.
The service relies on third parties, including Stripe for payments, Google for optional sign-in, and analytics, advertising and feedback providers listed in the Privacy Policy. The site also links to external sites, including our affiliate programme, which is operated on a third-party platform under its own terms. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or availability of those third-party services.
Parking Practice is a visual learning aid. It helps you understand steering geometry, reference points and the sequence of a manoeuvre. It does not reproduce real vehicle behaviour, road surfaces, weather, traffic, pedestrians, visibility, or the feedback of a qualified instructor, and it does not prepare you to drive on public roads. Practising here does not qualify, certify, or license you to drive anything. Always learn and practise in a real vehicle with a licensed instructor or a qualified supervising driver, and follow the law where you are.
We aim to keep the service running, but it is provided without any uptime guarantee, and it depends on providers we do not control. We may add, change, or remove drills, features and plans, and we may suspend or discontinue the service. If we discontinue a paid service entirely, we will stop billing and give reasonable notice.
The site and the simulator are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the simulator's behaviour matches any real vehicle, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that saved data will never be lost. Where consumer law gives you warranties that cannot be excluded, this section does not limit them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parking Practice and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, or from reliance on anything simulated or taught here — including any real-world driving incident, damage, test failure, or injury. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, and your mandatory statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, abuses the free allowance, or is used to attack or disrupt the service. If we terminate an active subscription for reasons other than a breach by you, we will refund the unused part of the current period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of Parking Practice is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you habitually reside — those rules continue to apply to you, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The "Last Updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, cancel your subscription and stop using the service.
